TULANCINGO
Tulancingo was assigned the control number "15". All of the stamps delivered to this main office will have a "15" and a two digit year imprinted, generally reading down the right-hand side of the stamp.

| Tulancingo stamps were delivered to the office with the district number "15" and two digit date. Before the stamp could be used a valid postage the Tulancingo postmaster had to apply the "TULANCINGO" district name imprint. The stamps above is so treated and is one of the first printings of the thin figure stamps, a 25 centavo Plate A or "slate blue" variety. |
